This shot shows the liner pant laying inside the pant. The picture also shows the "fuzzing" effect that comes from the velcro attaching itself to the inside of the pant liner (not the waterproof liner but the actual soft liner than keeps the armor in place and the kevlar off your skin... understand?). If you look along the right hand side you can see the fraying of the black material, right near the zipper.

This shows the pant leg opened, with the liner laying on top. You can see the buttoned loops on the bottom that secure the liner button to the inside of the pant.
Here is the zipper that zips the liner into the pants. You can see the tall elastic section on the left, it gives pretty good upper butt support.

This picture shows the optional hip padding. The picture is sideways with the top of the pants being on the left. The zipper in between the two pads is actually an access zipper from outside the pant so you can get to your jeans pocket (or whatever you are wearing underneath the pants). The thigh armour is visible to the right.
